Job Description ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/27/2026 - Duration: 11 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, flexible - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Observation Unit/n/n Location/n New York /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Days, Evenings, Nights, Rotating Shift Schedules, On Call, Call Back, Charge, Holidays, Weekends as needed /n/nJob Description/n The Observation unit cares for adult patients needing additional observation to determine if the patient's condition is serious enough for admission to the hospital or if the patient can be treated and released home safely. The Observation unit is a very fast-paced environment that turns over 20 to 27 patients per day, with an average length of stay of 27 hours. The unit has 24/7 provider coverage and cares for a diverse adult population of both emergency observation and admitted boarding patients. These patients will range from short stay to full admissions. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Observation unit. /n - Monitor and assess patient conditions to make informed care decisions. /n - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. /n - Manage fast-paced patient turnover while maintaining attention to detail. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - RN License (NY License ONLY) /n - Two years of Med/Surg experience /n - Telemetry experience required /n - BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) /n - NIHSS (Preferred) /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
