Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience. • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Local & travel allowed. • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System. Additional Details: Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend. Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed. Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to take own patient assignment, with the support of an RN. Experience with vital signs, pain assessment, intake/output monitoring, isolation precautions, physical restraints, specimen labeling, Oxygen administration via nasal cannula, Feeding tube management, Telemetry monitoring, 12-lead EKG, medication administration (oral, IM, SQ, NG/G-tube, ear and eye drops), IV therapy with pumps, blood glucose monitoring, wound care basics (simple dressings, JP/Hemovac drains), bathing and mouth care, Foley catheter insertion (male/female), clean catch urine collection, communication of status changes to RN/MD, and MS/Tele care setting.
