Friday | 40 Hours Weekly Job Summary Seeking an experienced
Employee Health RN for a unique, non-patient-facing role. This
position is ideal for an Acute Care RN looking to transition into
Occupational Health and Case Management. You will be responsible
for the health and safety of the hospital's staff, managing
everything from new-hire physicals and immunizations to complex
Workers' Compensation and FMLA cases. This is a highly
administrative yet clinically grounded role that ensures the
facility remains compliant with state and federal healthcare
regulations. Key Responsibilities - Case Management: Lead the
administration of Workers’ Compensation claims, NYS Disability
benefits, and FMLA/PFL tracking and renewals. - Onboarding &
Compliance: Manage the "fit-for-duty" process for new hires,
including physicals, drug testing, and immunizations. - Health
Screenings: Conduct annual employee screenings, including PPD (TB)
testing and N95 FIT testing. - Clinical Triage: Perform employee
health assessments and provide treatment or referrals according to
hospital policy for work-related injuries or illnesses. -
Return-to-Work Coordination: Facilitate "light duty" programs and
communicate employee status updates to department leadership. -
Documentation: Maintain electronic health records and policies
using the Paragon EMR system. Requirements & Qualifications -
Experience: Minimum 3 years of Acute Care experience is required. -
Specialty: Prior experience in Occupational Health or Case
Management is strongly preferred. - Licensure: Active New York (NY)
RN License. - Certification: BLS (AHA) is preferred. - Technical
Skills: Basic computer proficiency and experience with electronic
reporting systems; experience with Paragon is a plus (training
provided). - Core Competencies: Strong understanding of
confidentiality (HIPAA), organizational accuracy, and the ability
to manage a high volume of active cases. Unit & Facility Details -
Address: Auburn, NY 13021. - Environment: Professional
office/clinic setting within the hospital; not a bedside or
patient-facing role. - Schedule: 5x8-hour day shifts. No weekends,
no on-call, and no holiday coverage required. Financial & Logistics
Notes - Local Rule: A decrease applies to the rate for candidates
residing within a 50-mile radius. - RTO Policy: All Requested Time
Off must be included in the initial submittal; late requests will
not be approved. - First-Time Travelers: Accepted on a case-by-case
basis depending on clinical depth. Clinical Spotlight: The Employee
