Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Geneva, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,074 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Level 2 Registered Nurse - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Acute Care - ICU Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Variable Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required: [not specified] License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in New York State. Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Must-Have: - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. - Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. - Computer literacy. Description: The position involves providing care in an intensive care unit. Variable shift schedule includes both day and night shifts. Every other weekend and holiday shifts are required. Candidates must possess current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS. Completion of Basic Coronary Care training is required within six months of hire. Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire. Preferred certifications include Emergency Nurses Association certification and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification, both recommended within two years of hire. Demonstrating professionalism and effective communication is essential. The role requires meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities. Teamwork through effective role modeling is emphasized. Staff must provide age-appropriate care and demonstrate knowledge of patient growth and development. Ability to assess patient data and interpret information is necessary.
