weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an
experienced RN for a PACU position at a 471-bed acute care teaching
hospital in Rochester, NY, requiring ACLS, BLS, and PALS with at
least 1 year of PACU experience. Details - Work in the PACU unit of
a short-term acute care teaching hospital with 471 staffed beds -
Patient population includes Phase I PACU, Phase II Recovery, and
surgical cases spanning Endo/Laparoscopic, General, Ortho,
Ortho/Spine, and Ortho/Total Joints - Evening shift schedule:
4x10-hour shifts (1:00 PM–11:30 PM) or 5-shift variation (3:00
PM–11:30 PM) - On-call requirement of 4 shifts per month (2 weekend
call shifts and 2 weeknight call shifts) - Charting is done in Epic
(experience preferred) - Scrubs are provided in teal Requirements -
Active NY RN license required - Current certifications: BLS, ACLS,
and PALS - Minimum 1 year of PACU experience required - Proficiency
in phlebotomy and IV placement is mandatory for all RNs at this
facility - Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the
facility to be eligible Additional Information - First-time
