Job Description Anesthesiologist opening in NYLocated in SyracuseFull Time and Permanent PositionA full-time Anesthesiologist opportunity is available in Syracuse, NY, at a hospital offering a wide variety of cases in a collegial and supportive anesthesia environment. The facility includes the main hospital, two ASCs, and an Endo Center, all located within one block of each other. The position requires providing anesthesia care for various procedures, including general, GYN, bariatrics, robotics, orthopedics, spine, and more. The role involves pre-anesthesia assessments, patient consultations, anesthesia induction, maintenance, and emergence, as well as monitoring the patient's physiological condition during procedures.Responsibilities:Direct and coordinate activities in the Anesthesia Department.Manage anesthesia care during surgeries and medical procedures.Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain patient consent.Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients.Induce, maintain, and emerge from anesthesia, ensuring patient safety.Provide clinical interventions as needed.Requirements:M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia.Currently licensed as a physician.Compensation and Benefits:Up to $100K sign-on package.Loan repayment or training assistance available.Generous paid time off: 10 weeks.Health, dental, vision, life, disability, and AD&D insurance.Flexible spending accounts/health savings accounts.401(k) with profit sharing.Fully paid malpractice insurance.Leadership and professional development opportunities.Case Assignments:General, GYN, Bariatrics, Robotics, Ortho, Spine, Craniotomy, Thoracic, Vascular, Urology, ENT, Eyes, Plastics, Podiatry, Endo, EP/Cath Lab, and Healthy Pediatrics.
