Job Description Prodware Solutions LLC is seeking a travel Dialysis Charge Nurse (RN) for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Dialysis - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Facility: Dialysis at Long Pond Location: 1555 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14626 Unit: Dialysis RN Start Date: 03/23/2026 Duration: 13 Weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week Travel Rate: $27hr $1350wk stipend Schedule Monday – Friday: 5:30 AM – 10:30 PM (8 or 12-hour shifts based on department needs) Weekends: Every Other Weekend 5:30 AM – 10:30 PM (8 or 12-hour shifts) Occasional Sunday coverage due to holidays. Float Required: Yes – All other dialysis locations within system. Required Experience (Hard Stops) - Minimum 1 year Dialysis RN experience - Charge Nurse / Team Lead experience REQUIRED - Chronic Outpatient Dialysis experience REQUIRED - Acute Dialysis experience REQUIRED - Must be able to run a 4-patient pod independently - Experience stringing and setting up Fresenius 2008T machines Required License & Certification - Active NY RN License (in hand) - BLS Certification Clinical Skills Required - Initiate and manage dialysis treatments - Cannulation of AV grafts and fistulas - Tunneled and non-tunneled catheter management - Blood product administration - Dialysate conductivity testing - Machine alarm troubleshooting (air foam, arterial/venous pressure, conductivity, temperature, ultrafiltration, etc.) - Management of dialysis-related complications: - Hypotension - Hyperkalemia - Air emboli - Disequilibrium syndrome - Hemolysis - Clotted access - Cardiac arrest/CPR Unit Expectations - Charge Nurse for 24-chair outpatient chronic unit when assigned - Acute 8-station coverage - Blood glucose monitoring - Dysrhythmia interpretation - Infection control compliance About Prodware Solutions LLC Prodware Solutions LLC is a healthcare staffing agency connecting nurses and allied health professionals with trusted healthcare organizations nationwide.
