Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiac Catheterization Lab Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Lancesoft Inc Pay: $3,400 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position A Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab is responsible for providing patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures. The nurse prepares patients for procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and diagnostic cardiac catheterization, while monitoring vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall patient condition throughout the procedure. They assist cardiologists and the surgical team, administer medications and IV fluids, and ensure strict sterile technique and patient safety protocols are followed. The RN also provides post-procedure care, patient education, and maintains accurate medical documentation while being prepared to respond to cardiac emergencies if needed. Requirements Requirements: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license . BLS and ACLS certification required. Cath Lab experience preferred (usually 1–2 years). Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and interventional cardiology procedures . Strong critical thinking and communication skills . Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment .
