Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician /n/n Job Details: /n • Work Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM with 8-hour shifts /n• Start and end times can vary within the specified timeframe /n• No weekends, no call, and no holidays required /n• Review patient history and physician's orders for procedures /n• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation /n• Position patients and perform imaging procedures using proper techniques /n• Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapy in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice /n• Analyze results and identify issues with imaging quality, taking appropriate action to resolve problems /n• Enter, transmit, and report scan results /n• Order, prepare, administer, store, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols /n• Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status /n• Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies in Clinical Nuclear Medicine rooms /n• Must be certified as Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by NMTCB or registered as Radiologic Technologist (RT) and certified in Nuclear Medicine (NM) by ARRT /n• NYS License required /n• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required /n• 2 years of Nuclear Tech experience required /n• CT certification and PE/CT experience preferred /n/n Facility: /n This medical imaging facility provides comprehensive nuclear medicine services as part of a larger healthcare network.
