Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Watertown, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,380 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: ICU RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Current critical care experience preferred. Must have completed at least one successful traveler assignment. License: Current RN license required. Must possess a current NYS RN license. Certifications: BLS required. ACLS required. PALS preferred. Coronary care course or successful completion of challenge exam within orientation period. Basic lethal dysrhythmia within six months of employment. NIHSS certification within the first six months of employment. Must-Have: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Must recognize safety issues to self and others, and be able to assess and implement the use of lifts or move patients in a safe manner. Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills. Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate. May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills are required. Previous employees must have been gone for at least two years and be eligible for rehire to be considered. Description: The role requires a thorough knowledge of nursing principles. The nurse will provide quality patient care and assess patients' needs, including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual aspects. Strong problem-solving skills are necessary to manage stressful situations effectively. Nurses will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and proper handling during transfers. Leadership abilities will be critical in prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as needed. Interpersonal communication skills should facilitate interaction with patients and their families. The position may involve assuming charge nurse responsibilities as required.
