Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg Tele /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM /n• 36 hours per week guaranteed for 13-week assignment /n• Weekend, holiday, and call requirements /n• Float between multiple units: MS 4 Pav, MS 5 Pratt, PCU, and acute inpatient rehab (ortho/neuro) /n• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 /n• PCU experience highly preferred /n• Must have completed at least one successful travel assignment (first-time travelers not considered) /n• Current New York nursing license required /n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS /n• Meditech experience required /n• Must be graduate from an accredited School of Nursing /n• Care for patients with common diagnoses including septic conditions, COPD, CHF, post-operative patients, general medical surgical cases, post-op plastics, and ALC patients /n• Administer required drips and medications including heparin drips, magnesium and potassium riders /n• May be required to assume charge nurse duties /n• Must demonstrate strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate /n• Ability to function well in stressful situations with creative problem-solving skills /n• Must assess and implement safe patient lifting and moving techniques /n• Provide comprehensive patient care including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs assessment /n/n Facility: /n This medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services with multiple specialized units including medical-surgical, telemetry, progressive care, and acute inpatient rehabilitation services.
