Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - CVOR /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM /n• Provide cardiac operating room nursing care for a wide variety of patients /n• Care for patients undergoing CABGs, TAVIs, and heart failure procedures including VADs, ECMO, artificial heart, and heart transplants /n• Utilize multidisciplinary approach to care for patients of all ages /n• Must be able to both scrub and circulate in the operating room /n• New York RN license required (NY license only) /n• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required /n• Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma center preferred /n• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only) and ACLS (American Heart Association only) /n/n Facility: /n This major academic medical center features a comprehensive adult cardiac operating room that provides advanced cardiac surgical services. The facility specializes in complex cardiac procedures and heart failure treatments, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and a multidisciplinary team approach.
