13210 Assignment Type: Local Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift:
Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts per week |
Every other weekend required (including holidays) Pay Rate: $38.00
– $42.50 per hour Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,311 – $1,466.25 Position
Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join an acute care
healthcare facility in Syracuse, NY. This night-shift, local
contract position is ideal for a respiratory therapist who can
function independently with minimal orientation and has strong
acute care experience. Pediatric experience is preferred.
Responsibilities Administer positive pressure ventilation and
aerosolized respiratory therapies Initiate, monitor, and manage
oxygen therapy Assist physicians with the initiation and
maintenance of mechanical ventilation Perform cardiopulmonary
resuscitation (CPR) as required Conduct pulmonary function testing
Perform radial arterial punctures Deliver comprehensive acute care
respiratory services with minimal supervision Maintain accurate and
timely patient documentation Adhere to established clinical
protocols and safety standards Collaborate effectively with
physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams Qualifications
Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Respiratory Therapy Active
New York State Respiratory Therapist license/registration Minimum
of 2 years post-degree acute care clinical experience Strong
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work
independently in a fast-paced clinical environment Successful
completion of pre-employment health clearance Pediatric experience
