or Travel) Shift: Monday – Friday | Rotating Shifts Schedule: 8
hours/day | 40 hours/week | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Pay Rate: Local: Up
to $38/hour Travel: Up to $45/hour (including stipend) Position
Summary "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and
compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support patient
care in an acute clinical setting in Syracuse, NY. The LPN will
work closely with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver
high-quality patient care, assist with clinical procedures, and
support daily clinic operations. This role is ideal for a
detail-oriented professional who can work independently while
contributing effectively to a collaborative healthcare environment.
Responsibilities Greet patients, prepare them for examinations, and
escort them to appropriate exam rooms Assist physicians during
examinations and procedures, including administering injections and
assisting with Pap tests Prepare trays, instruments, and equipment
for clinical procedures Measure, document, and monitor vital signs,
patient progress, and responses to treatment Deliver nursing care
activities under the direction of the supervising nurse and
established care plans Maintain cleanliness, organization, and
readiness of exam rooms and clinical areas Support front-office and
administrative functions, including scheduling, filing, chart
preparation, and reception coverage Coordinate with insurance
providers to obtain authorizations for diagnostic tests, therapies,
and procedures Communicate with referring providers to obtain or
extend patient referrals Observe patient responses and promptly
report concerns to the nursing or physician team Participate in
unit operations, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance
activities Qualifications Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
license in the State of New York Prior experience in an acute care
or clinical setting preferred Ability to perform patient care tasks
with minimal supervision Proficiency in taking and documenting
vital signs and patient assessments Strong communication,
organizational, and interpersonal skills Experience administering
injections and assisting with clinical procedures Familiarity with
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems strongly preferred
