Job Description Job Description Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Location: Rochester, NY Assignment Type: Travel / Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Mid Shift Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts Shift Hours: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM Total Hours: 36 hours per week Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a fast-paced emergency department at a large acute care hospital. The ER RN will provide rapid assessment, triage, and treatment to patients experiencing a wide range of medical emergencies while maintaining high standards of patient safety and clinical excellence. Responsibilities Perform rapid triage and comprehensive patient assessments Provide emergency nursing care for medical, surgical, and trauma patients Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and emergency treatments Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient response to interventions Assist with emergency procedures, resuscitations, and trauma activations Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record Communicate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams Maintain compliance with emergency department protocols, infection control, and safety standards Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York or compact, where applicable) Minimum 1–2 years of recent Emergency Room experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications required PALS and TNCC preferred Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills For more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 Just tell me what you want next
