Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week Shift Time: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Requested Time Off (RTO):
Minimal RTO preferred Role Overview The Emergency Department
Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in a fast-paced,
high-acuity emergency setting, supporting both adult and pediatric
populations. This role requires strong clinical skills, rapid
decision-making, and the ability to manage patients with complex
and emergent conditions. Required Qualifications Active New York
State RN license (pending licenses not accepted) Minimum 1 year of
Emergency Department experience First-time travelers accepted
Required Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Required Clinical Skills General Emergency Department nursing
(combined adult and pediatric care) Interpretation and management
of cardiac dysrhythmias Care of patients with multisystem organ
dysfunction or failure Blood product administration Central line
care and management IV therapy, including phlebotomy and IV
initiation Continuous IV paralytics and sedation Emergency
medication administration IV vasopressor management Procedural
sedation administration Stroke (CVA) care Infection control and
isolation precautions Unit & Patient Care Details Nurse-to-Patient
Ratios: Approximately 1:5 (mixed and shared acuity levels) Patient
Population: Adult and Pediatric Documentation & Systems Electronic
