Schedule Day 4x10-Hour Shift (11:00 AM - 9:30 PM) Job Description The Surgical Technologist will be an integral part of a dynamic surgical team, providing high-quality support across a variety of surgical specialties, including ortho, neurology, gynecology, urology, vascular, and thoracic procedures. Strong knowledge and experience in laparoscopic techniques and various surgical protocols are essential. Responsibilities - Assist with preparing and maintaining the sterile field during surgical procedures. - Handle surgical instruments and equipment efficiently during operations. - Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care. - Participate in pre-operative and post-operative procedures as needed. - Adhere to hospital policies and protocols, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Minimum of 3 years of surgical technologist experience in a clinical setting. - Current BLS certification. - Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) is preferred. - Active New York state license is required. - Experience with EPIC charting system is a strong requirement.
