Shift: Mid 3x12-Hour (15:00 – 03:00) Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Specialty: ER RN Experience Requirements: • Minimum 1 year ER experience • First-time travelers: Accepted Licensure & Certifications: ? Active NY RN License required (pending license not accepted) ? BLS ? ACLS ? PALS ? NIHSS ?? Staffing & Scheduling: • Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5 (mixed/shared acuity) • Block scheduling: Will try to accommodate (not guaranteed) • RTO: Minimal RTO requested • Float: Required when census warrants Required Clinical Skills: • General Emergency Department (Combined Adult/Peds) • Interpretation & management of dysrhythmias • Management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure • Blood product administration • Central line care & management • Phlebotomy & IV starts • Continuous IV paralytics & sedation • Emergency medications • IV vasopressors • Procedural sedation administration • CVA care • Isolation precautions Charting System: • EPIC (preferred/used) Scrubs: • Any combination of navy and white Local Candidate Policy: • Local RNs not accepted (must reside more than 75 miles from facility) HonorVet Technologies Job ID 31843643.
