Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,962 per week Shift Information: 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Rochester, New York, 14445! Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – New York Start Date: March 2, 2026 Location: Rochester, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, float to other units as census warrants Highlights: Combined adult and pediatric emergency department with 34 rooms and 71 beds Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 with mixed and shared acuity levels High-volume emergency department averaging 145 visits per day with 64 daily census Epic charting system in use Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response, pharmacy, and phlebotomy 16 hours of paid orientation provided Requirements: Minimum 1 year of emergency department nursing experience required Active New York RN license in hand at time of submission (pending licenses not accepted) Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS Epic charting experience is required Must reside more than 75 miles from facility location Proficiency in emergency medications, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, blood product administration, and central line management Experience with continuous IV sedation and paralytics, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and multisystem organ dysfunction Skills in phlebotomy, IV starts and maintenance, CVA care, and isolation precautions Ability to care for all age groups from neonates through geriatrics Limited RTO requests preferred (maximum 10 days) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to practice in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department where you'll utilize advanced critical care skills across the full lifespan.
