ratio Description: MUST HAVE NY LICENSE IN HAND - NO EXCEPTIONS.
Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry. Shift: 3x12 Nights
1900-0700. Floating is required. First-time travelers are accepted.
Locals are not accepted, must be more than a 75-mile radius. The
unit cares primarily for CHF patients, acute myocardial
infarctions, post-device care, and patients with arrhythmias. The
unit has a total of 26 beds. Care includes general surgery
patients. Patient demographics include those undergoing colon
rectal procedures, ostomies, plastic and cosmetic surgeries, and
breast procedures. High volume unit. Experience in interpretation
and management of dysrhythmias is essential. Skills required
include use of Rapid Response/Code teams and blood product
administration. Experience in peripheral line care and oxygen
administration is necessary. Isolation precautions and wound care
expertise are required. Patient ages vary, with a daily census that
changes. The facility has 528 staffed beds. Staffed in any
combination of navy and white scrub colors. Requirements Required
