Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York.
Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline:
RN - Start Date: 03/17/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per
week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work 3x12 day shifts from 7:00 AM
to 7:00 PM for a 13-week contract • Every other weekend requirement
• Must be available to work every other holiday if needed • Patient
ratios: 1:5 for Tele (1:7 for MedSurg) • Will be required to float
within skillset • EPIC charting experience required • Required
certifications: ACLS, BLS • Active New York Single State RN license
required (NY is not Compact) • Must have 1 year of experience •
Must have experience in MS/Tele settings • Candidates within 75
miles of the facility are not accepted • Required clinical skills
include IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood product administration,
peripheral line care/management, cardiac monitoring & emergency
response, interpretation & management of dysrhythmias, rapid
response/code team use, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway
management, oxygen administration, wound care/wound vac, and
isolation precautions • Scrub color requirement: Any combination of
navy blue and white • Pre-start modules required (up to 5 billable
hours) • First-time travelers accepted Facility: This 528-bed acute
care teaching facility is Magnet-recognized and certified as an
Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center. The 26-bed unit
specializes in care of patients post PCI, pacemakers, AICDs, post
MI, and cardiac pharmacologic interventions. The hospital is
affiliated with Cleveland Clinic and Roswell Park, offering
specialized services through multiple institutes including heart,
cancer, neuroscience, pediatric emergency care, birthing center,
and advanced surgical programs including vascular, thoracic, and
surgical oncology. Location: Rochester, NY Rochester offers a
