A dynamic opportunity is available for Occupational Therapists (OT) and Physical Therapists (PT) to provide specialized support for homeschool students in the Buffalo, NY area. This position involves delivering therapy services directly in students' homes, supporting K-12 learners throughout the current school year on a contract basis. Key responsibilities include: - Providing ten occupational therapy sessions per week focused on improving students' functional abilities in their home learning environments. - Conducting four physical therapy sessions weekly, tailored to meet individual student needs. - Traveling locally to students homes in and around Buffalo, ensuring convenient access to therapy services. - Collaborating with families and educational teams to develop and implement effective therapy plans. - Monitoring progress and maintaining detailed records to support student development and compliance with educational goals. Qualifications and desired experience: - Valid licensing as an Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist. - Experience working with school-aged children, preferably within K-12 educational settings. - Comfort and flexibility in providing therapy services in home environments. - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with families and educational staff. - Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the community.
