Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,168 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: 2/10/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year required License: New York license required in hand Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: EPIC charting experience Description: MUST HAVE NEW YORK LICENSE IN HAND. Specialty: MS/Tele Float RN. Shift: 3x12 NIGHTS 1900-0700. Optional to request 4x12 for approval. First-time travelers are accepted. Locals must be more than 75 miles away. Floating is required as this is an overhire float unit. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates must have patient ratio experience. Charting system experience is required, specifically with EPIC. Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias are necessary skills. Experience with isolation precautions is needed. Candidates should be familiar with nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management. Oxygen administration and management of oxygen tanks are required. Experience in peripheral line care/management is needed. Use of rapid response/code teams is expected. Weekend coverage is required. Two pre-approved time off requests are allowed. Candidates should be prepared to float to different areas as needed. Modules may be billed for up to five hours spent on training. Total module time may reach ten hours, with excess time being non-billable. Modules are completed prior to the start of the position and vary by specialty. Candidates with foreign education must notify for verification.
