Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,060 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: 2/17/2026 About the Position Job Title: Float Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: New York license required in hand Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: EPIC charting experience Description: MUST HAVE NY LICENSE IN HAND. Specialty: MS/Tele Float RN. First-time travelers are accepted. Local candidates must be more than 75 miles from the facility. Floating is required as this is an overhire float unit. Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is necessary. Knowledge of rapid response and code teams is essential. Competence in peripheral line care and management is required. Familiarity with nasal cannula, oxygen administration, and oxygen tanks is expected. Understanding of non-invasive airway management and isolation precautions is needed. The RN will be responsible for patient care on an MS/Tele unit. Candidates should have basic skills relevant to the specialty area. Candidates will float as necessary within the assigned unit. Charting experience with EPIC is a hard requirement. Background policy will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Any modules required must be completed prior to the start of the assignment.
