An Outpatient Cancer Center is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist
for locum tenens coverage. About the Facility Location The facility
is located in Northern Wyoming. About the Clinician's Workday This
is a 6-12 month outpatient medical oncology locum position with no
call, scheduled Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm (last patient at 3:30) and
Friday mornings 8am-12pm. The physician sees 12-14 follow-up
patients and 10-12 treatment patients per day, with 2 new consults
per week (1 hour each). The position is supported by a PA, NP,
nurse navigator, social worker, clinical supervisor for medical
oncology and chemotherapy, rotating nursing staff for clinic and
chemo, and a triage nurse who manages phone calls and results.
Additional Job Details Case Load/PPD: 12-14 follow up ppd, see
around 10-12 on treatment patients Support Staff: PA, NP , nurse
navigator , social worker , clinical supervisor for med Patient
