Breast Surgery Medical Director opening in Rochester, New York - Located in Rochester, NY - Full-Time; permanent position - Seeking a Breast Surgery Medical DirectorQualifications and Responsibilities:Split your time .8 FTE clinical and .2 FTE administrative, balancing hands-on patient care with strategic leadership responsibilities.Supervise and mentor a team of surgeons and advanced practice providers dedicated to breast health.Oversee daily operations of the Breast Surgery Department, managing scheduling, performance evaluations, and quality assurance.Lead initiatives to standardize care protocols, monitor key metrics, and drive quality improvements across the Hospital and the Groups Health system.Represent the department in hospital committees, community outreach, and media relations as a trusted leader and spokesperson.Collaborate with hospital administration on strategic planning, budgeting, and enhancing the performance of the Breast Surgery Department.Board Certification: Required in General Surgery with fellowship training in Breast Surgery or Surgical Oncology.Licensure: Active New York State medical license (or eligibility).Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in breast surgery.
