ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/10/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Registered Nurse - PCU Job Details: • Work 4x12 hour night shifts with every other weekend coverage required • Manage 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for MedSurg patients • Must have 1 year of nursing experience and travel experience • New York license must be in hand - no exceptions • Must live outside 75 mile radius from facility • EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS • Must have experience with arterial line or vasopressor titration • Float to ICU or medical-surgical units as needed • Provide care for adult and geriatric patients requiring specialized monitoring • Perform cardiac monitoring and emergency response including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias • Manage IV therapy, phlebotomy, and peripheral line care • Handle respiratory care including nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, and non-invasive airway management • Maintain isolation precautions and follow professional care standards • Complete 24 hours of orientation and up to 10 hours of pre-start modules • Work with continuous pulse-oximetry and telemetry monitoring • Care for patients requiring airway management, BIPAP support, arterial lines, central lines, and titrated medication infusions • Scrub color requirements: any combination of navy and white Facility: This 528-bed tertiary care hospital features a 26-bed Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) that serves as a critical care step-down unit.
