Certified Surgical Tech, BLS required Must-Have: Must be certified.
Must have travel experience. Must have orthopedic experience. Must
have scrubbing experience. Must have Davinci experience. Might be
asked to precept new staff. Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech
program preferred. Approved pharmacology course or previous
medication experience and successful achievement in medications
exam. Knowledge in the use of cleaning, sterilization, and
disinfection of equipment and instrumentation utilized in the
clinical operating room setting. Continuing education requirements
of 15 CEUs per year. Must arrive within half an hour of getting
called in. Description: Qualified candidates will function under
the direct supervision of an RN. Assist in nursing care and
preparation of the surgical patient by performing routine and
delegated duties according to the standards and policies of the
department. Perform technical duties relating to scrub personnel,
including precise and efficient responses to all situations. Assist
with departmental work as assigned. Surgical techs play a vital
role in creating and maintaining a sterile surgical room. Ensure
that surgical equipment is functioning properly and safely. Assist
surgeons during surgical procedures. Requirements Required for
