CT Tech Location: Geneva, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,596 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 9 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: CT/Rad Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Acute Tech - Radiologic Technology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Full Time Hours per Shift: 9 hours (10:45pm to 7:15am) Experience: Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience with solid Radiologic Tech/X-Ray or C-Arm experience License: NYS License Certifications: ARRT, BLS Must-Have: - NYS Licensure - BLS & ARRT Certifications - C-Arm Experience Description: Performs technical radiographic assignments. Exercises complex skills, judgment, and knowledge of the principles and methods of CT and Radiologic Technology. Performs diagnostic radiographic studies as requested. Operates portable diagnostic radiographic equipment when needed. Performs Infection Control according to Universal Precautions. Radiologic Technologist shall have the ability to provide care to patients of all ages. Operates with accuracy radiographic, CT, image processors, and other related equipment. Evaluates images for quality and demonstrates accuracy of positioning based on procedure guidelines. Provides clear and concise instructions during procedures to calm and relieve stress for patients. Maintains competence in two specific modalities. Ensures that proper radiation protection is used for self, patients, and other personnel by using proper collimation, lead shielding, and techniques when applicable. Demonstrates flexibility in assuming emergency call on weekdays, weekends, and holidays in addition to routine hours. Demonstrates competency in RIS and PACS. Utilizes the system to enter and edit patient exams and charges. Records other appropriate data, scans documents, and makes notes. Responsible for the performance of radiographic and CT studies with and/or without IV contrast enhancement. Follows applicable guidelines. Performs required quality control activities. Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is reasonably anticipated. Required tasks involve potential contact with blood, body fluids, and tissues.
