This one-year opportunity offers both full-time (Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) and part-time schedules, coordinating days with other providers. The role focuses on direct patient care, including clinic consultations and surgical procedures, for a broad range of gastroenterology cases. Job Details Location: New York Start Date: Mar 2, 2026 LOA: 137 Provider Type Needed: Gastroenterologist Schedule: Full-time: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Part-time: 2-3 days per week, coordinated with other providers Responsibilities and Duties Deliver direct patient care, comprising approximately 90 percent of work duties Provide clinical gastroenterology services in both clinic and surgical settings Arrive promptly for scheduled clinics and surgeries Offer consultative services at the bedside for non-ambulatory patients and in the clinic for ambulatory patients Schedule and complete procedures within 30 days of consult requests Additional Information Minimum 2 years of experience in gastroenterology required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Any valid state medical license accepted Assignment duration and start date dependent on contract award and credentialing Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
