Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical Intensive Care Unit Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,222 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/17/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified MICU RN in Rochester, New York, 14621! Job Opportunity – Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse – New York Start Date: February 17, 2026 Location: Rochester, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts with Day/Night rotation; every other weekend required Highlights: Work in a 16-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit with a diverse, high-acuity patient population including sepsis, ARDS, cardiac arrest, multi-organ failure, and respiratory failure Gain experience with advanced critical care equipment including CRRT, ECMO, Impella, IABP, and EKOS therapies Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, with occasional 1:1 assignments based on acuity level Epic EMR system utilized throughout the facility Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more 36-hour orientation period to ensure smooth onboarding Requirements: Active New York RN license required in hand prior to submission Minimum 2 years of recent critical care nursing experience Epic charting system experience is required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Experience with 1:2 patient ratios in an ICU setting Proficiency in arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, titrating vasoactive and cardiac drips, and continuous IV sedation Must reside greater than 75 miles from the facility location Willingness to float to other units as needed Why It's a Great Opportunity: This Medical ICU role offers the chance to enhance your critical care skills while working with a complex and rewarding patient population.
