Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity Position: MRI Technologist Location: City, State Shift Details: - Schedule: Night Shift (5x8 Hours) - Days: Friday - Monday - Time: 21:00 - 07:00 Qualifications: - Minimum 1 year of experience in MRI technology. - Required Certifications: - NYS Radiologic Technologist License - Injection Certification - Preferred Certifications: - ARRT R - BLS Job Responsibilities: - Perform MRI scans and assist with special imaging procedures. - Handle a variety of patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. - Follow isolation precautions and maintain a safe working environment. - Utilize equipment including GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, and PACS systems. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy. - Manage an average of 20 patient visits per day. Technical Skills: - Proficient in imaging procedures such as: - Diffusion (non-brain) - Gradient Echo Imaging - Image post-processing (including apparent diffusion coefficient mapping and subtraction) - Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) - Perfusion - Experience in imaging various body parts including: - Abdomen and Pelvis - Chest - Brain and Head/Neck (Face/Soft tissue neck) - Spine (Cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic) Additional Information: - Orientation Hours: 40 hours. - Holidays may be required if scheduled to work. - This position does not allow local candidates (within 75 miles).
