Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Active New York Single State RN license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: EPIC charting experience required Experience with MS/Tele and cardiac monitoring Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias Experience with Rapid Response/Code teams Knowledge of IV therapy and phlebotomy Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care in a medical/surgical and telemetry environment. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients, administering medications, and performing assessments. The nurse will manage cardiac monitoring and respond to emergency situations appropriately. The role requires the use of nasal cannula, oxygen administration, and non-invasive airway management. The nurse will also be responsible for peripheral line care and management. Isolation precautions must be followed. The nurse will float within their skill set as needed. Weekends and holidays may be required, with every other weekend and holiday availability anticipated. All candidates must have previous travel nursing experience.
