Job Title: Surgical ICU - Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating shifts (Days/Eves/Nights) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Two (2) years of RN with ICU acute care experience License: RN License (New York only) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only), ACLS (American Heart Association only) Must-Have: Telemetry experience Description: This position is for a Surgical ICU Registered Nurse. The focus is on critically ill neuro patients requiring specialized nursing and medical care. Patient diagnoses include traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, status epilepticus, stroke, and other critical neurologic pathologies. The unit consists of a state-of-the-art, 12-bed ICU. Candidates must demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills. Maintaining current knowledge of critical care is essential for this role.
