Job Title: Registered Nurse - Neuro Medicine ICU Profession: RN Specialty: ICU RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 36 hours/week Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience in ICU acute care License: RN License (New York only) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association) Must-Have: Telemetry experience Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Neuro Medicine Intensive Care Unit. The unit focuses on critically ill neuro patients requiring specialized nursing and medical care. Patient diagnoses may include traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, status epilepticus, stroke, and other critical neurologic pathologies. The facility features a brand new state-of-the-art, 12-bed ICU. Candidates should demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills. They must also remain current in their knowledge of critical care.
