with every-other-weekend requirement; block scheduling available
but not guaranteed Highlights: - Day/evening ratios 5:1 (stretch
6-7); night ratios 6-7:1 (stretch 8-10) - 22-bed progressive care
unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV
teams, phlebotomy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams -
Epic charting system; 8-hour orientation provided - Patient Care
Technicians handle vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKGs, and
activities of daily living - Diverse case mix including cardiac,
pulmonary, GI, infection, pain management, and unmanaged diabetes -
Advanced telemetry skills required: dysrhythmia interpretation and
management, cardiac drips, IV insulin protocols, heparin protocols
Requirements: - Current New York RN license (must be in hand prior
to submission) - Minimum 1 year of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry
experience - BLS certification required - Epic charting experience
strongly preferred - Must reside 75 miles from facility -
Competency in feeding tube care, tracheostomy management, chest
tubes, high flow nasal cannula, CPAP/BiPAP, and wound care/wound
vac - Willingness to float to other med-surg units, ED boarders,
