assignment with every-other-weekend requirement; Day/Evening ratios
5:1 (stretch 6-7:1), Night ratios 6-7:1 (stretch 8-10:1); block
scheduling available but not guaranteed Highlights: - 20-bed
Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit with comprehensive
interdisciplinary support including in-house phlebotomy, IV teams,
respiratory services, and rapid response teams - Patient Care
Technicians handle vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKGs, and
activities of daily living, allowing nurses to focus on clinical
care - Epic charting system with computerized documentation -
First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of recent MS/Tele
experience - May float to other Medical-Surgical units within scope
of practice - Up to 5 hours of billable orientation and pre-start
modules Requirements: - Current New York State RN license (must be
in hand prior to submission) - Minimum 1 year of recent
Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience - BLS certification
required - Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Experience with peripheral line care/management, oxygen
administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation
precautions - Epic charting experience strongly preferred - Must
reside more than 75 miles from facility - RTO limited to no more
