Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Rehabilitation - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Rehabilitation – Rochester, New York Start Date: January 26, 2026 Location: Rochester, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Every other weekend (EOW) coverage; block scheduling available upon request (not guaranteed); Day shift ratio 1:5, Night shift ratio 1:12 Highlights: - Acute rehabilitation hospital setting specializing in stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury recovery - 25-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, RT, IV teams, rapid response, and more - Float required to Medical-Surgical units as needed - EPIC charting system (experience strongly preferred) - Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics - No more than 1 week of requested time off permitted during contract period Requirements: - Active, unencumbered New York RN license (must be in hand prior to submittal) - Current BLS certification required - Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience - EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement - Experience with CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) and acute rehabilitation strongly preferred - Comfort using specialty equipment including Hoyer lifts and sit-to-stand lifts - Must reside outside of a 75-mile radius from the facility - First-time travelers accepted Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a dedicated rehabilitation team committed to restoring independence and function to patients recovering from neurological injuries and conditions.
