This is a day shift role supporting a fast-paced IR team that delivers advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Ideal candidates will be highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and skilled in fluoroscopic imaging and vascular access support. Key Responsibilities: - Perform high-quality diagnostic IR imaging by selecting accurate exposure factors and positioning patients - Assist radiologists during interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency - Prepare and instruct patients before exams, demonstrating compassionate and professional care - Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment; report malfunctions as needed - Complete procedures efficiently and assist with room turnover between cases - Maintain medication security protocols and ensure accurate documentation - Use HIS, RIS, and PACS systems to manage patient data - Respond to technical inquiries from hospital staff with professionalism and clarity - Participate in department quality and performance improvement initiatives Requirements: - Active NYS Radiologic Technologist License (or ability to obtain prior to start) - Minimum 2 years’ experience in interventional radiology or similar diagnostic imaging setting - BLS Certification – American Heart Association ONLY - Proficient in operating fluoroscopy and IR-specific imaging equipment - Familiarity with hospital documentation systems (HIS, RIS, PACS) Preferred Qualifications: - VIR Certification (preferred) - Prior experience in a high-acuity or academic hospital setting Why Travel with HumanEdge Health? - Competitive weekly compensation - Health and dental benefits - Weekly direct deposit - Responsive recruiter support - Credentialing and licensure reimbursement Apply Now your IR expertise and join a dedicated imaging team in one of New York’s premier healthcare institutions.
