charting experience is required - Experience with patient
management for conditions including sepsis, ARDS, renal failure,
heart failure, alcohol withdrawal, and multi-organ failure
Description: The registered nurse will be part of the MICU team.
This role requires care for patients with complex medical needs.
The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:2, with occasional 1:1
based on acuity. Responsibilities include the interpretation and
management of dysrhythmias, care of ventilated patients, and
assistance with various monitoring equipment. The unit features
interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, social
services, and pharmacy teams. Weekend requirements include working
every other weekend. First-time travelers are accepted for this
role. Candidates must be willing to float to other areas as needed.
