working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in
Rochester, New York, 14621! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Med-Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day
and Night Rotation (3x12-Hour) Hours per Shift: 12 Experience:
Minimum of 1 year License: Active New York RN License required
Certifications: ACLS and BLS required Must-Have: EPIC charting
experience required Description: Must have an active New York RN
license. Shift rotations will be 3x12 days and nights. Availability
for every other weekend is required. Holiday availability is also
necessary. First-time travelers are accepted. Locals are not
accepted; must reside more than 75 miles away. The position
involves caring primarily for CHF patients, acute MI's, post-device
care (pacemakers), and patients with arrhythmias. Cardiac
monitoring and emergency response, including interpretation and
management of dysrhythmias, are required. Competence in IV therapy
and phlebotomy is essential, including peripheral line care and
management. Respiratory care experience, such as using nasal
cannulas, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks, and
non-invasive airway management, is necessary. Understanding
isolation precautions is important. Candidates should expect to
float as needed. Patient ratios range from 1:5 to 1:7. The unit
involves a total of 26 beds. Experience in blood product
