Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,194 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/10/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year License: Active New York Single State RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - EPIC experience required - Telemetry and stepdown-level care experience - Ability to manage cardiac drips (no titration) - Blood product administration experience - Central line care/management experience - Peripheral line care/management experience Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the PCU. The shift will be from 7 PM to 7 AM. This position is for a duration of 13 weeks and requires experience in a stepdown or telemetry unit. The nurse will be responsible for the care of long-term pulmonary patients and those recovering from ENT surgeries. Ideal candidates should be able to handle cardiac monitoring and emergency response, including the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. The nurse will need to administer oxygen via nasal cannula and execute non-invasive airway management. Candidates should also be comfortable managing IV therapy and practicing isolation precautions. There is a requirement to float within the unit based on patient needs. All candidates must be willing to work every other weekend and be available to cover holiday shifts as needed.
