Job Title: Neuro Medicine ICU - Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Nurse Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 36 hours/week Experience: Two years of RN with ICU acute care experience License: RN License (New York ONLY) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association ONLY), ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY), Telemetry Experience Required Must-Have: Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills Description: The Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit focuses on critically ill Neuro patients. Patients may have diagnoses such as traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, status epilepticus, stroke, and other critical neurologic pathologies. This is a brand new state-of-the-art 12 bed ICU. The position requires strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to remain current in knowledge of critical care.
