Registered Nurse (RN) | Surgical Intensive Care Unit Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,294 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Surgical ICU - Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU RN Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Rotating Shift Schedule (D/E/N) Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Two (2) years of ICU acute care experience required License: RN License (New York only) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only) Must-Have: ACLS (American Heart Association only) Description: This role is in a Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit. The primary focus is on critically ill Neuro patients. Patients may present with traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, status epilepticus, stroke, and other critical neurologic pathologies. The unit features a brand new state-of-the-art, 12-bed ICU. Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to remain current in knowledge of critical care. Telemetry experience is required.
