Job Title: Level 3 RN Endo/GI Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Endoscopy/Gastroenterology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years of Endoscopy/GI experience License: NY State RN License Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: - NYS RN License - BLS Certification (AHA ONLY) - 2 years of Endoscopy/GI experience - Telemetry experience Description: Schedule: 8 AM - 8 PM. On-call required for overnights and weekends. Job Duties include: Answering patient questions and addressing their concerns. Observing patient vital signs. Sedating patients before procedures. Recovering patients after procedures. Administering necessary medication to patients. Completing all necessary documentation including patient notes and discharge documents. Preparing instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures. Cleaning and sterilizing equipment before use. Providing assistance to Doctors throughout procedures.
