Schedule 12 hours, D/E/N rotating shift schedules, every other weekend, holidays/on-call/callback/charge per unit needs. Job Description The Surgical ICU is focused on caring for critically ill neuro patients who require specialized nursing and medical care. Patient diagnoses include traumatic brain injury, aneurysms, status epilepticus, stroke, and other critical neurologic pathologies in a brand new state-of-the-art, 12-bed ICU. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill neuro patients. Monitor and assess patient progress and respond to changes in their condition. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of critical care nursing practices and telemetry. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid RN License in New York. Two (2) years of RN experience in an ICU acute care setting. Telemetry experience required. Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association. Demonstrated strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills. Why ARMStaffing?
