Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,172 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/3/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit – New York Start Date: March 3, 2026 Location: Rochester, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, night shift, 13-week contract, every other weekend required Highlights: Work in a 528-bed Magnet-recognized acute care teaching facility affiliated with Cleveland Clinic and Roswell Park Patient ratio of 1:4-5 with adult and geriatric populations requiring stepdown-level care Epic charting system with 16 hours of paid orientation Manage cardiac drips, blood products, central lines, and telemetry monitoring in a progressive care environment Float within skillset with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, and rapid response teams Flexible time-off requests accepted upon submission Requirements: Active New York Single State RN license required in hand prior to submission (NY is not a Compact state; pending licenses not accepted) Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience required; travel nursing experience required Epic charting experience is mandatory Patient ratio experience managing up to 5 patients Telemetry and progressive care unit (PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown) experience required Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, oxygen administration, blood product administration, and central/peripheral line management Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility Charge nurse experience preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a prestigious Magnet-recognized teaching hospital that is certified as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center and offers specialized institutes for cardiac, cancer, and neuroscience care.
