patient ratio in a 26-bed specialized cardiac unit Highlights:
Specialized cardiac care including post-PCI, pacemakers, AICDs,
post-MI, and cardiac pharmacological interventions 528-bed tertiary
care hospital with Epic charting system Comprehensive cardiac
monitoring with dysrhythmia interpretation and management 12-week
assignment with opportunities for professional growth in cardiac
nursing Collaborative interdisciplinary team with Rapid Response
and Code team support Floating to other units as needed to support
hospital operations Requirements: Active New York RN license in
hand prior to submission (no exceptions) Minimum 1 year of
Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing experience Current BLS certification
required Proficiency in Epic electronic medical records system
(hard requirement) Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia
interpretation and management Competency in IV therapy, peripheral
line care/management, and phlebotomy Knowledge of respiratory
support including oxygen administration and non-invasive airway
management Understanding of isolation precautions and infection
control protocols Must reside more than 75 miles from facility
