Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Rehabilitation – Rochester, New York Start Date: January 26, 2026 Location: Rochester, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Every other weekend (EOW) coverage; block scheduling available upon request (not guaranteed); Day shift ratio 1:5, Night shift ratio 1:12 Highlights: Acute rehabilitation hospital setting specializing in stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury recovery 25-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, RT, IV teams, rapid response, and more Float required to Medical-Surgical units as needed EPIC charting system (experience strongly preferred) Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics No more than 1 week of requested time off permitted during contract period Requirements: Active, unencumbered New York RN license (must be in hand prior to submittal) Current BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement Experience with CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) and acute rehabilitation strongly preferred Comfort using specialty equipment including Hoyer lifts and sit-to-stand lifts Must reside outside of a 75-mile radius from the facility First-time travelers accepted Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a dedicated rehabilitation team committed to restoring independence and function to patients recovering from neurological injuries and conditions.
