Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,088 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 11 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/24/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MedSurg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night or Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year preferred License: New York license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Must have a valid New York license in hand. Proficient in Epic charting. Description: Candidates must be able to manage a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 for MedSurg patients. The unit specializes in the care of patients post PCI, pacemakers, AICDs, and post MI, as well as cardiac pharmacological interventions. Knowledge of the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is essential. Experience with Rapid Response and Code teams is required. Skills in IV therapy and phlebotomy, including peripheral line care and management, are needed. Experience with respiratory management, including nasal cannulas and oxygen administration, is essential. Candidates must also be knowledgeable regarding isolation precautions. Patients primarily present with cardiac-related diagnoses. The facility should be a tertiary care hospital that provides comprehensive patient support. Candidates will float to other units as needed.
